Lightspeed Electrical – Borden Display Centre Transformation
Lightspeed Electrical was engaged to complete the full strip-out and electrical rewire of an old showroom, transforming it into the new Borden Display Centre for Macdonald Jones Homes in Oak Flats. The project focused on creating a modern space to showcase premium home selections and interactive displays, requiring electrical work that aligned with both the visual and functional goals of the new centre.
The initial phase involved removing all outdated electrical systems. This allowed our team to install new infrastructure designed to support lighting, power, and digital display requirements. Feature lighting was installed to highlight display areas, using energy-efficient LED fixtures that offer clarity and reduce running costs.
We also installed power for workstations, AV displays, and customer consultation points, along with structured cabling to support network and media needs. Every installation was completed in line with Australian Standards for safety and performance.
The result is a modern, polished display centre that meets daily operational needs while reflecting Borden’s commitment to design and presentation quality.

Lighting:
- Full LED upgrade, including panel lights and downlights, to improve visibility, reduce energy consumption, and create a modern, evenly lit environment across all display and work areas.

Macdonald Jones Homes – Oak Flats Project Outcome:
The project was completed on time and to specification, delivering a state-of-the-art display centre for Macdonald Jones Homes.
