Lightspeed Electrical successfully transformed an incomplete and substandard handover into a fully functional and high-performance workspace for Lifestyle Solutions. Originally, the tenancy was meant to be delivered as a back-to-base shell, but upon handover, it was found to be far below acceptable standards. Much of the existing infrastructure had not been fully removed, and approximately half of the required lighting was missing. This presented significant challenges from the outset.
The situation was complicated further by the fact that Lifestyle Solutions had already signed the lease under an “as-is” agreement. This meant they were responsible for accepting the condition of the property and managing any rectification work needed to bring the space up to a workable standard. Lightspeed Electrical was brought in to assess the state of the premises and propose a solution that would meet the client’s operational and safety requirements, while also aligning with the overall design and layout of their intended office fit-out.
Our first priority was to carry out a comprehensive review of the incomplete electrical work, removing unsafe or non-compliant components and developing a plan to complete the installation with minimal disruption. We supplied and installed new lighting, power points, and data cabling where required, ensuring full coverage throughout the space.
The rectification process also involved a close working relationship with the client, builder, and other trades to integrate changes smoothly into the construction timeline. Every detail was carefully managed to ensure the resulting space was not only functional but also reflective of Lifestyle Solutions’ commitment to providing a supportive and professional environment.

Lightspeed Electrical undertook a complete strip-out of the existing electrical services before executing a full new installation aligned with Lifestyle Solutions’ operational needs. Key installations included:

- Over 250 Data Points – We ensured robust workplace connectivity by installing structured data cabling across all workstations and meeting spaces. This allowed for seamless integration of IT systems, VoIP phones, and collaborative digital tools—supporting efficient daily operations and long-term scalability.
- Power Supply to 130 Workstations – Provided reliable power distribution across the facility, installing dedicated circuits and general power outlets to support computers, office equipment, and other essential systems—ensuring uninterrupted daily operations and long-term reliability.
- Meeting Room Integration – The workspace was fully equipped with integrated video conferencing systems, enabling streamlined communication for both internal meetings and remote collaboration—supporting Lifestyle Solutions’ need for modern, connected workspaces.
- Floor Boxes for Cable Management – Strategically placed at meeting tables to ensure a clean, organized setup that supports efficient collaboration and maintains the professional aesthetic of Lifestyle Solutions’ workspace.
- Emergency Lighting System Upgrade – Ensuring full compliance with all electrical safety standards to support a secure and reliable working environment.
- Cat6a Cabling for WiFi Outlets – Delivering high-speed connectivity and enhanced network performance across all Lifestyle Solutions workstations and collaborative zones.
