Commercial Office Fit-Out with Integrated Electrical Design – 65 Berry Street, North Sydney
Lightspeed Electrical was engaged from the early design phase to deliver the full electrical engineering and coordination for this premium commercial workplace fit-out. Working closely with Gapcomm’s architectural design team, our role was to ensure the electrical strategy aligned seamlessly with the project’s strong architectural intent.
Electrical Engineering from Concept to Completion
Following design sign-off, our team delivered the complete supply and installation of all electrical works throughout the tenancy. This included a fully integrated C-Bus automation system, allowing flexible control of lighting scenes across different zones and work environments.
Bespoke Architectural Lighting Integration
A defining element of the project is the custom architectural lighting, specifically designed and fabricated to follow the building’s curved walls, ceilings, and feature joinery. Achieving this required detailed coordination, precise set-outs, and careful installation to maintain clean, continuous light lines without visual breaks.
Functional Performance with Visual Balance
The scope of works also covered all general lighting, feature lighting, and power distribution throughout open-plan workspaces, meeting rooms, collaboration zones, and breakout areas. Particular attention was given to balancing technical performance with visual softness, ensuring the lighting enhanced the architecture rather than overpowering it.
A Unified, High-End Workplace Outcome
The result is a refined commercial space where lighting, automation, and architecture operate as a single, cohesive system. This project showcases Lightspeed Electrical’s ability to deliver technically robust solutions while maintaining a premium visual finish — supporting both day-to-day functionality and long-term performance.
